After a live jazz performance changes his life, Dai Miyamoto, a former high school basketball player from Sendai, receives a tenor saxophone from his brother and teaches himself to play day and night. Chasing a dream of becoming the world’s best, he moves to Tokyo, where his passion draws in gifted pianist Yukinori and his friend Shunji, a beginner drummer, to form the jazz trio JASS and take on the city’s club scene.
