On D-Day, a British paratroop squad is dropped far from its intended target and quickly wiped out, leaving Private Johnny Barrows as the only survivor. Inexperienced, frightened and alone behind enemy lines, Johnny must find his way through hostile territory. With danger closing in, his struggle for safety forces him to confront fear and grow beyond the boy he was.
